Biography

Laura lives in Nebraska and writes from her family farm. She co-owns a weather data company and keeps an eye out for extreme weather. Together with her husband and children, Laura sells honey and garden produce at local farmers markets.
A former police officer, she now seeks justice with words. She is a member of the Nebraska Writers Guild, Public Safety Writers Association, Sisters in Crime, and the Guppies Chapter of Sisters in Crime.
Her article, "Body Cams: An Instant Replay for Law Enforcement," won 3rd place in the Public Safety Writers 2014 Writing Competition in the Non-Fiction Creative Non-Technical, Published Category.
